Sharp AM-900 "Paper Jam"

My Sharp AM-900 All-in-One printer had a paper jam (not in the auto document feeded, but rather in the paper output) . I cleared it, but still get the message that there is a jam. I've dismantled it as much as is obviously possible (i.e. removed all trays, screws, etc.) in an effort to locate any little pieces of torn paper and such. As far as I can tell, the printer is totally clean of paper. I'm able to send faxes and scan, but anything involving paper output cannot even be initiated.

I'm hoping someone has another idea to troubleshoot the problem. The online manual was no help. I'm only marginally tech talented. That is, I know enough to be a danger to myself and others. So, if you could keep your replies in words with that in mind, that'd be awesome.

If you haven't done it follow the unjam procedure again EXACTLY to make sure everything is clipped back into place,but this time rotate all the rollers to make sure they all rotate freely.

If you've already done this I'd try a hard or cold reset,this varies from model to model but usually involves holding the power button down for 10-20 secs from an off starting position,so while its off hold down the on button for 20secs,other than that look around the printer for a reset button or hole,it'll be tiny and you can only push it with a pin if it has one,both these procedure reset the printer to factory default so if you have any custom settings they will be lost.

If neither of these is possible the only thing you can do is contact sharp and ask what to do,the online manuals offer little guidance.
