Yes, No, Yes, No, Yes .... well it depends on who's opinon you want or get, Steve Gibson has been around the net for years and is a self oppointed security guru, yes shields up will test your open ports and all... but remember if your behind a router some ports will show closed and not stealth like a firewall will do.

Best to take all security testing sites with a pinch of salt IMHO.

His site wont harm you or give you any nastys if thats what you want to here
