Firstly, is this usually possible? I want to shift 2 separate raid 0 setups from an albatron 915p/pro mobo to an asus p5ld2 deluxe mobo.

At the moment, I'm assuming I'm stuffed and that I will have to somehow backup 400gb and set up the array on the new motherboard. Is this correct?

    Thanks

I don't think so. As long as you leave the drives on the same RAID controller, you should be able to move it to another computer without having to recreate the array. I've never tried this though, so I can't guarantee it will work. I'd say it's worth a try though.

I should have mentioned also, that I'm using the onboard raid, not a separate controller, in both the old albatron and the new asus boards.

    2 x 80gb in Raid 0 (IDE Raid)
    2 x 120gb in Raid 0 (Sata Raid)

In that case, you will probably have to backup your data, recreate the array, and then copy it over. Sorry about that, I have a PCI RAID card, so I just assumed everyone else does too. :) lol.
