.shn to .mp3

Any suggestions for a good, free .shn to .mp3 convertor (other than dBpoweramp).

Is there a reason you don't want dbpoweramp? I know where you can get a free version that the legacy plugins will work with.

If you don't mind an older version - dbpoweramp 10 - (freeware), Google "last free version" and then pick a link to 321download.com and go to page 11. Then you can go to the dbpoweramp web site and find their legacy plugins page for all the plugins you might need for it.

Yeah! it can be quite a useful place. You can find alot of interesting things there. Like the last free version of BCwipe(page 14), the file wiper I use. I tried Erasure but it would freeze up if you tried to erase something still active and then refuse to erase even after you cleared it with unlocker. So I switched back to BCwipe and never looked back. There is also a precursor to ConvertXtoDvd by VSO (page 12) there and a few other gems. Its kind of a hassle having to go thru the pages, and there are non-freeware things at the bottom of some of the pages (registry mechanic mostly in the begining), but alot of these things are still the same as now (minus the bloat) except for Vista compatibiliy I suppose. And you can't beat free!
