My Zonet ZEW1605 802.11g adapter may be on its' way out and I don't want to wait until it dies, so, can you guys suggest a good reliable card. What are the advantages to selecting dual-band, 802.11n etc. over what I have presently? I'd like to stay in the 30-40 dollar range.

I'm running Vista 64 on one HD and Win7 64 on the other.

Have you considered a USB wifi dongle instead of a card?

I used two Linksys dongles on two desktop computers.
This is the model I used but it is not within your budget.

The advantage of a dongle is that it can be moved from computer to computer.

If you are set on a card, I'm sure someone will be along to recommend a brand and model.
