shortcut error

hello, if you could help me with this i would be grateful. i tried to download a kind of messenger service but it didn't work and then it refused to uninstall. something went wrong with the download process somewhere.
anyway, after being unable to remove the programme i just tried to delete it.

it seemed to delete ok, i thought, but now i just get this repeated shortcut error message every time i start up the computer. any ideas how i can get rid of this?

I would try CCLeaner available here http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads12.html . Once you have it installed click on 'Issues' this will find and allow you to remove any invalid registry entries.
