I'm wondering where windows stores the shortcutkey information. I mean, when you right click on a file and go to the shortcut tab there is a section that lets you asign a hotkey to simply run that shortcut. What I want to know is where is that shortcut key in the registry, I need to find a way to edit that value directly.

    Icon and Shortcut substitute.
Best and most useful program I have ever come across.
Essential, on every PC, for productivity increases, IMHO.

and do away with (98%) of your icons and shortcuts, altogether.
"X" gets me Excel. "IE" =Internet Explorer, "prog" = cd\Program Files, "jump" goes to my USB jumpdrive, "CC" = CCleaner, "CL" = Cleanup!, "Emp" = EmpTemp, etc.
I have 170+ magicWords instead of icons and shortcuts. Bazza
