I accidentally posted this in programming already, but no replies. rolleyes

I want to make a shortcut from inside one shared folder to a folder in another shared folder, but it keeps trying to go to a local folder on the other client. I made shortcuts on the other client ok, but when I move them to the sharing client, they become local shortcuts. When the other client opens the shortcuts, it tries to go to it's own local folder that doesn't exist instead of the one on the sharing client.

That is, I have one client, which shares folders A and B. I want a shortcut in a subfolder of A to point to B. I have another client which is browsing A, and clicks the shortcut, but instead of B, it gets an error that the directory doesn't exist on the local computer. I can make a shortcut to B on another client, but when I move it to the subfolder in A on the sharing client, I think that it changes somehow because it doesn't work anymore.

I put folder B in my FireFox favorites, then dragged it from there to the subfolder in A. It is now an Internet Shortcut, and it works.
