Should I Divorce Lastpass, And Replace With Whom?

I really, really love LastPass when it works like it's supposed to as my password manager and autofill program. The problem is too many websites are telling me invalid username / e-mail or password and rejecting my log-in. The username or e-mail is always correct, so I suppose it's the password they are balking at.

I am getting so tired of this. It is taking up way too much of my time. But I don't know for sure if the problem is LastPass or the websites. I'm sure at least some of the time it's the websites. Are THAT many websites screwing up? It's become a seemingly daily problem.

Will another password manager / autofill program serve me better than LastPass? I used Roboform years ago and quit it because I felt like it was slowing down my browsers. But I'm open to giving it another try.

Is there some way I can get LastPass to start working better for me? Anybody faced this hurdle and gotten over it?

Please give me your advice and suggestions. Especially for freeware.

It's been a while since I have used LastPass but I didn't like it very much.

I have got by just fine for many many years with Autofill Forms and the built in Firefox password manager.
