   hi everyone can anybody tell me whats wrong with my computer
   when i turn my pc on starts up to xp logo then it shuts down completly
   it is a intel pentium D 160gb sata hard drive 1g meg of ram 3.0 mhz new power box.
   I am using a friends computer at the moment anyone can help.

   Most likely, your system is overheating. I would start by looking at heatsink problems first, then go from there.
