Shutting down and blue screen

When I startup my computer is goes to the login page and then automatically restarts once. And also when I am logged in it sometimes gives me the blue screen. How do I fix these?

 

Also I would like to know how to disable cookies in ME. As most of them are tracking cookies.

To boot safe mode, press f8 during startup.

Also, give us some details of your system, ie operating system, hardware etc..

 

Yes, It starts up fine in safe mode. And I have windows ME.

here is a link to troubleshooting ME startup problems. Basically there is a service, driver or program that loads when you boot your PC that is causing you this problem.

If it didn't start in safe mode, it could have indicated a hardware error but I'm pretty sure its software related.
