This a tricky one. How do you shut down port 80 on Windoez 2000 wiithout stopping IIS? I need to keep users working on 443 for about 30 minutes before I reboot the server. Trying to work out some session timeout issues here, and this is a "fix" mandated by the powers that be. Any ideas????

That sounds like a paradox to me. What do you mean "keep users working on 443" is that port 443? Maybe you could change which port IIS is listening to. You might also leave the port open on the machine but shut down the port on the firewall assuming you have one.

Just a few thoughts, probably not much help.
