Hiya guys - newbie to the forums so hope I dont get flamed right away :)

I've had this shuttle machine for about a year now, and today decided to upgrade to new Geforce 6800 and decent TFT screen.

However, now when I try and go into games or run a load of video files, the machine seems to hang for a few seconds and then decide to reset itself??

Looking at a couple of postings in here, could it be down to the fact that the Shuttle only has a 250W power supply?

welcome to mg ... don't worry you're not gonna get flamed ... i don't think

you're gonna need more than 250w for a 6800 ... I'd say at least 400w and not generic either ... antec, PC Power & Cooling, enermax are good brands if you search the forum others have suggested other brands

Not true my buddy has a shuttle with a 250 and a 6800 geforce card. I would start by checking for up to date drivers.

    cheers guys :)

after much messing around I added 512MB memory as well, this was causing the probs.

Dropped it back to 256MB and everything works perfectly with no crashes at all so gonna take back the memory now!
