Sick Mouse

    opened my plug-in mouse case. THOROUGHLY cleaned (q-tip) interior/ball.
    mouse still does NOT roll smoothly, jumps, skips, won't stay on box/icon to click.
    is there a remedy that i can do or, HORROR, get a new one (it's only a year and a half old).

    Try reloading the mouse driver too. :)

    IMO you'd be better off getting an optical mouse. Don't have to worry about cleaning. Just make sure its not a reflective surface you use it on.

    And don't buy a bargin $6 dollar cheapie plug-in like I did....:foolish
