Sick of M$, need help installing debian

    over the last couple of weeks i have come to the conclusion that windows xp sucks and i want to get debian or any form of linux. unfortunately, everytime i try to loadboot off of the disc i burned, it fails and just loads up windows again. PLEASE HELP.

    You can download the Knoppix ISO file from www.knoppix.net and burn the bootable CD. Knoppix can be run from the CD or you can install it to the HD. Knoppix is Debian based and as a result you can install Debian from the Knoppix CD.

    If your having trouble booting a CD, Make sure your BIOS is set to boot the CD and that the CD is tried before the HD.
