i found in my closet an old sidewinder gamepad
it doesn't have usb connector
how di i connect it to my new computer?

Do you have a Game controller connector on the video, or sound card?? Or is your video and/or sound built into the motherboard?? If so...one of the D connectors (looks real similar to a parrallel printer port only about half the size) on the back should allow you to use a joystick, etc for gaming!!

What exactly is the make and model of the computer, and/or motherboard, sound card, video card etc.?? Knowing that we might be better able to tell you where to connect it, and if you can use this gadget with your computer!!

Is there any way you can show me what kind of connector is on the gamepad?? Does it match ANY of the connectors on the back of your computer??

If I knew what kind of connector the gamepiece has, we could probably find you an adapter to make it work with usb, or either find a pci add on card with the kind of game connector you need!!

Also...even if we can get it to hook up to the computer, you are probably going to have to have the software and/or driver in order to make this work with the computer!!

Unfortunately I am not firmiliar wth the Sidewinder Gamepad!! I'm assuming it is a version of a joystick??
