Siig Sound Drivers Needed

    Hi all. Need drivers for SIIG IC-1607 / IC-137012 / 4d wave / PCI / TRIDENT chip set. This is an older card and have not been able to find drivers for win2000. Have installed several drivers in my old Compaq (new in 2000) with no luck. Was able to play music cd's but no system sounds. When I install it does see the card. Is there a universal driver anywhere? All help greatly appreciated.

    No, I've tryed the ic1607-win file, didn't work. Note it says no support for windows 2000 but I was hoping someone knew where there was one.

    as his soundcards chipset is a Trident one ( SIIG IC-1607 / IC-137012 / 4d wave / PCI / TRIDENT chip set ), it is not supported and highly unlikely to be supported by one of the other sound chipsets listed.

    @WHATSAYU it maybe an option to email SIIG and ask if a driver is available, although I would have suspected they would have it available for download if that was the case... http://fs3.siig.com/group.html
