Silent Hill Could Be Returning, Courtesy Of Konami And Bloober Team...

The renowned survival horror IP is one of my favourites in gaming. To know a new entry has not occurred since 2012, other than the P.T. demo for the ill-fated Hideo Kojima related Silent Hills, breaks my heart.

Fortunately, Bloober Team, who quite recently released The Medium, are partnering up with Konami. It hereby feels pretty obvious what franchise they're going to set about bringing back. They've already admitted they are huge fans of the series, and this was all rumoured months ago. They even said it was an existing IP, so Konami only really has that one major horror franchise anyway.

Anyway, I don't know how to copy and paste links on an Android TV box. But hell. Just Google it!

 

They have CastleVania also.

 

Is that really horror, though?

 

Not survival horror but classic horror I suppose - vampires, zombies etc.

 

The thing about The Medium, is that someone pointed out to me that the game has no combat at all. I'd prefer not to have a long awaited return to a series I love, having no combat involved. That would be rather off putting, to be honest.
