Silent keyboard

Hi all

I am sharing our home tiny office with my wife. She's quite annoyed, as she has to study for all kinds of exams, by my loud clicking keyboard:-o. Keyboard IS loud.
Anyone can suggest a reasonably priced QUIET keyboard, preferably, readily available in common stores? I'd rather have wired one, as I did not have much success with several wireless ones. Also, $$ factor comes into play.

Not to forget. I am on PC. Mac has grand quiet ones, but have no doubt they are $$$$$ and not sure if they do work with PC.
