Simple Ocr Wanted

    Hi guys,

    Can any of you supergeeks please help me? I'm looking for an OCR program that is basic enough to allow
    me to select some, not all, of the text from a jpeg file and convert it to editable text without all the bells and
    whistles found on most OCR progs. I would also prefer if it was offline. Something along the lines of the addon for Firefox called Copyfish which is extremely useful.

    I avoid downloading anything from CNet. They used to include junk in the downloads.
