I've been using Minefield nightlys and have become aware that I occasionally, have to go back & recheck the tracking cookings for firefox in SpywareBlaster & renable protection.

Is this simply because, Minefield is sometimes updated with an entire new version?

I haven't been paying enough attention & am just curious, if it could be another issue.

I've never seen that, the only time I have to enable the protection is after installing an update to SpywareBlaster. The settings are normally applied automatically to a new Firefox (or Minefield) update, or new profile (the settings in Firefox are actually stored in the Firefox/Minefield profile folder, which is not changed by reinstalling the browser).

Thanks greenknight32, I messed around with several new profiles & deleted some old ones.

    So, that's probably, why.

I thought- it must be something simple ;)
