Simple Visual Basic 6.0 question

    I have a simple VB 6.0 question. I am just picking up VB so can someone tell me what the code is if I have a command button and when someone clicks the command button I want a text file to open completely seperate the running program? I already have the text file created and ready to go. TIA!

    Try
    Shell("c:\windows\notepad -filenamehere.txt")

    that should open up notepad with the associated file "FILENAMEHERE.TXT" loaded.
