SimpleTech 320GB Signature Mini Inop

So, i've had my SimpleTech 320GB Signature Mini portable HD for a little over 2mths and just today it stopped working. I still see the red light, but the blue light no longer comes on. On top of that my computer doesn't even consider it plugged in. When i plug the USB cable in, i get nothing, even in the Device manager, nothing. I'm thinking it's a driver, but i can't find a freakin driver for the life of me. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P205-S7476
200GB HD, 1.5Ghz Intel Core Duo, 32bit Operating System, and i'm running Windows Vista Premium. Now, since this is the 3rd(yes 3rd) portable HD that has just stopped working withing the last few months i'm starting to think that this laptop is cramping my style. Any suggestions???
