Has anyone here heard of Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer?

Is it good software? If not what would you recommend for alternative free software?

You're referring to SUPER I'm assuming. (link: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Super_d5117.html) I used it once or twice until I found other software that was also free and did the same thing and was easier to use. Some people I know swear by SUPER. Like I said, I accomplished the same thing using 2 or 3 different programs (instead of one, which may be a minus), but these others are WAY easy to use. What are you trying to do with SUPER? I may be able to recommend something for you....

One of my friends has a few small (in terms of pixel dimensions) mov. files she wants to burn to dvd then play on her dvd player (tv dvd player that is). I told her she has to convert the mov files first because the dvd player won't play the mov's. I told her this program would work for converting and for making the videos larger and not so pixelated at a larger size.

I have already recommended this to her.....I'd say it is probably a good program. But because of its complexity, perhaps I shouldn't have.

    Any comments?
