Sims Error

Hey, I have the sims and just got the sims hot date expansion pack...well it installed but now when i go to play it a message comes up saying "unable to find data directory" and eagames said to uninstall and then reinstall it and i tried that and it didn't work. I heard its common for hot date to give problems, so what should i do. If anyone has aol/aim you can also IM my friends name Ashr584 and let us know rather then posting. If you cant get in touch with that name just post. Thanks!!

 

Have you tried reinstalling the original sims?
This seems to be a common problem!
