I probably already know the answer but ill ask anyway i have 2 boards to use both are stock board the one board the ps/2 ports are fried and it has a intel celeron d 356 3.3 from a emachine w3503 with DDR Ram and the other is a stock board from a hp a6683w AMD Sempron DC 2.0 is the board im currently using with win 7. the emachine has 2 sticks of DDR 3200 512 and the celeron has 1 stick of pc5300 1gb and 1 stick of pc4200 512. But i did find a Biostar n68s mobo with a AMD II X2 2.9 that im thinking of getting dude is selling for 40.00 but i will have to buy a larger box to put it in not sure if he has the ram or not but another option is ASUS M2N-E SLI AM2 motherboard,AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2GHz AD03800IAA5CU CPU AM2,4GB CORSAIR XMS2 SERIES MEMORY - Corsair CM2X2048-6400C5 XMS2 2GB PC2-6400 800MHz 240-Pin DDR2 CL5 Desktop Memory Module x2 all that for 100. Hello and welcome to MG .. Its the old story of which to choose and what are you going to use it for specifically Gaming/Surfing/Work etc. If its for gaming I would personally go for the ASUS M2N-E SLI AM2 as with this board you have the option of linking 2 Graphics cards but I think I would upgrade the CPU but that's your choice of course. Memory seems to be adequate
(4GB CORSAIR XMS2 SERIES ) You haven't mentioned what PSU you will be using ??? Here's a link to specs of the board for closer scrutiny. What do you mean by ''I will have to buy a Larger Box ????
