Sirefef.gen!C

yesterday ,when tryed to wach a muvie...i got Sirefef.gen!C on my pc....i know i whas blind and i double clicked on a codec that should make thaT muvie run...google chrome anounced me about these ...i mention my pc restarted 1 time and than much things hapend..slow pc.
i tryed to remuve and i followed these steps,but my eset smart antivirus steel found some infections.can i get some advices?how can i see if Sirefef.gen!C its completly remouved.ty
