    The system is PC2 below (sig) it has a Japanese ME OS. Have been trying to connect this to the router (it is already configuered & PC1 is running on it now). After conducting research and configuring PC2 to be able to connect to the router I finally checked the "Device Manager" and there is a big red cross through the "SiS 900 Fast Ethernet Adapter". I checked through the avail "tabs" and options and I found there is a conflict occuring in the "Resources" for this device and it's setting for I/O Range: 0000-00FF is in conflict.

    Does anyone have suggestions as to how I approach this? I have attempted to change the parameter "I/O" to one that is similar to my system but are not certain of;
    a. What I am doing?
    b. Should I change the IRQ & Memory Range in conjunction with the I/O???

    I have EVEREST Home on the system and thus can assess the "Device Resources" allocation for the system but I still don't know what to do??? Any references or pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.:)

    Spent 3 hours today stripping the system and cleaning it out, hoping it would be something physical and obvious and are considering to buy a PCI Ethernet card ($20 AU) but don't want to if this might not fix the problem or just be a waste of cash.
