Along with a million other problems i'm having at the moment, one of them is a pretty minor issue..but one that annoys me :foolish

I have become used to surfing using the MacAfee site advisor add on that intergrates with both FF and Internet Explorer browsers.
Just lately on all 3 machines I got here it has been playing up intermitantly...
Next to the search results I am *supposed* to be seeing colour coded icons against the websites shown in search results .. green for good, red for bed....yellow for caution etc.... but now my search results don't have these icons that I have become so used to seeing..and i feel a little unsafer than I usually would, especially when trying to research malware and such as.

I have the option checked to display these icons within the settings as you can see

but something's not working right...I uninstalled the add on, ran Ccleaner...rebooted and reinstalled the add on...but it still doesn't work properly in either FF or IE...at first I thought the add on wasn't compatible with FF since the browser had that big update to v3....but then i would have been informed of that like i was with the other incompatibles during the update process....

I guess I wouldn't mind changing to a different kind of add on that does the same thing...but I remember trying something called K9 (I think) and i hated it....surfing speed was reduced dramatically. I really like macafee site advisor, and wish it hadn't been screwing me around, so if anyone knows to a solution, or suggestions for a new site advisor, i would appreciate it.

    Thanks
    Emms :wave

Having the same problem here, at least with Google but it works with Yahoo! Tried unchecking and checking again but no effect. Suspect a conflict with another add-on or extension.

On my machine, SA will behave normally for some length of time, then I get message saying"Not a valid Windows Application." Removed SA and started scanning with other programs more often.
