Has anyone else been getting a "This site is not secure" error message when trying to download the latest Ccleaner version? I have tried to download it on two different computers and get the same error message.

From where are you trying to download CCleaner?

Also which browser did you use and what security software (including browser extensions) are you using?

My Mom's desktop PC, running Windows 10 Home and my laptop, also running Windows 10 Home.

I used Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge on my laptop and Chrome on my mother's desktop. Both computers have Avast anti-virus and IOBit Malware Fighter.

I tried both Major Geeks and the author's (Piriform) website

Temporarily disable both, restart the browser and try again.
    Don't forget to enable them.

The SSL cert at secure.piriform.com expired yesterday. This is the reason for the security error. Piriform will hopefully fix this problem soon.

I checked that yesterday around the time of #3/4, the new cert. was already in place with an expiry date of 12 September 2019.

Maybe the browsers needed a force refresh to flush the stale cache?

Only on their main domain but not on secure.piriform.com:

    The member also tried MajorGeeks.com.
The SSL Certificate is valid until 2 September 2019 (and has been since 4 June 2019).

Now I'm confused; secure.piriform.com redirects to secure.ccleaner.com which has no cert. problem.

secure.piriform.com is their affiliate tracking server. The domain secure.ccleaner.com is using a different SSL certificate.
