Hello I got some time on my hands still and I am really tired of going between things on what to do in life. I love computers(had one for years) but I really want to learn about them. I want to learn the ins and outs of computer. I want to learn malware help like they do here (they posted links before for help in malware and what to go to for learning maybe). Also software Id like to learn a lot of stuff in software and why this and that doesn't work. So basically I want people to post sites that will help or show me info or give me info, or any site that will give me some sort of learning for computers and how they work and how to fix them and why things go wrong and etc.. so post links please that I can go to to learn! Thanks in advance. Also I got questoins on programs that you learn about.. what do you guys do download all of them and try and mess with them to learn about them? Can I download things to computer that are like booklets of learning? Anything..?

uuh. you might want to check out stuff on A+ certification to learn about hardware and whatnot. Net+ for basic networking, or if you want to go hardcore networking, pick up some CCNA study material. Maybe pick up some programming books if you want to know how software works. Websites can only give you so much. Read books if you want to learn. I dont know about the malware people and how they get certified though.

or majorgeeks.com if its something specific youre looking for..

Like the guy above me said, A+ certification is where you learn basic computer stuff. Some of the bigger training companies have study guides and stuff that you can download. Check out the A+ study guide here:

Thanks for the study guide link. I was looking for a good free A+ resource.

Check your local Jr Colleges and adult schools in your area. Apply for scholarships when you can. There are schools out there that offer stuff for free or minimal amounts of money. Good luck.
