    Hello
I get Skype updates much too often and reading the web, I am not alone.
Is it integrated into Windows 10 so I cannot remove it ?
I can use Oovoo[cross platform] or Google hangouts instead without all this Windows/Skype business and constant updates. I think they want you to erroneously click on Bing and homepage or they would not always be there. uBLOCK ORIGIN always says it flagged 2 items whenever I update at the point where the dots for Bing and homepage exist.
I don't like to disable updates due to security reasons.
What information do you have about this?
    TY

Yes Skype is integrated into Windows 10 but if you don't use it (or don't want to use the desktop version either) you can REMOVE it. The program that I prefer to use to get rid
of inbuilt apps, such as Skype, is IoBit Uninstaller > Win Manager. You can remove ALL or any apps integrated into Win 10 that way.
But it is the same issue again about users keeping their eyes open. Skype will always have pre-checked options for 'click to call', 'Bing search' and 'MSN' homepage changes. Unchecking those boxes will always stop them.

I wish to correct an error I made. uBLOCK ORIGIN did not say two items were blocked when the Bing and MSN homage options appeared.
It was Unchecky that did it. It is a good program which Bernie recommended.
Thank you for the uninstall information. I use Wise uninstaller and have for a log time. I think Revo Pro is the best but this is free and effective. I have had issues with IoBit in the past like trying to sneak other programs into my machine even after I unchecked the barely visible box, to include a system tool program. Then there was the issue with MBAM and IoBit. There is a lack of trust for me.
I noticed that Bing and MSN are unchecked yet Unchecky flags them which is good from my point of view?
    TY

I don't use Unchecky because I keep my eyes open so have no need of it. I don't use Wise programs because I don't need them and have fixed about half dozen PCs of friends because they caused bad problems. Revo Pro costs money (Revo free wont work on 64 bit systems) and does nothing more than the free IoBit Uninstaller does.
I don't know Wise or Revo Pro, so I have no idea if either has options that allow the complete and clean removal of inbuilt Windows apps. IoBit does.
IoBit is like all Adobe programs, Skype, and about a 100 other freeware programs that will include options for other programs.
It's the same issue = Eyes open wide.

I did not know Wise had other programs and that there were issues with it. I assume the program is removing entries it should not? I guess I have been lucky and will look into it. Thanks for the tip.
Yes, Revo pro does cost and seems to be very popular among many experienced users I have engaged in other forums.

All the more aggressive system optimisation programs can cause difficulties post-use by people who don't have a very clear knowledge of what the program does.
I'm sure Revo Pro works well - I always used Revo free on 32 bit systems and it is fine.
But if you want SKYPE removed, you either go through the Store App procedure (which wont remove it entirely and cleanly), or you use an uninstaller that does. IoBit does do that. Maybe Revo Pro will too if you choose to buy it.

EDIT: As you have it, why don't you just open up Wise Uninstaller and see if it gives you Skype as an option to uninstall it??

I was in touch with my grand children and they will Skype so that means I too will continue to use it. They are worth the constant updates. TY for your kelp.
