Slackware Linux: Screen will not lock

    I installed VMware on my linux system and now my screen will not lock. Also my screensaver doesn't work. Any thoughts?

    What programs are you using for both of these functions? And is it Slackware inside of VMWare or Slackware running VMWare?

    Slackware is the distribution of Linux that I'm using. Vmware is a program I'm using within Linux. I'm just trying to use the Lock Screen funtion built into linux.

    Have you tried running 'xlock' or 'xscreensaver'?
