Slimbrowser won't Install

Is anyone else having trouble download Slimbrowser v4? When I do, my computer says there's a virus in it, and I can't save it since "Access is denied" and the install file just won't run.

Does anyone else have this problem?

 

Well have you checked the Install file for a virus? try downloading it again from another site.

Need more details, such as what AV you have, What OS your using, Personally i have never heard of slimbrowser, are you sure its not spyware in disguise?

 

Sorry, I'm running Win2k with Bitdefender v7. Slimbrowser is a web browser, I'm suprised you've never heard of it, this website offers it for download (it's "Hot") under the Browser section. It's not spyware. It also doesn't contain a virus, the home website says it's something with the installer. I posted there too, but the forums there are slow.

I've tried to download it from multiple sites, even from another machine with the same result, so I can only guess that it's a problem with the file itself that the coders need to work out. I'm running v3.99 of it just fine with no problems, this comes as a surpise to me.

 

Well if your 100% its doesn't have virus, try diasabling your AV and then installing. Just remember to do a full scan once complete.

 

have you tried turning off your firewall and anti virus then downloading thats what my son has to do,if that fails i can send to th file my e-mail is dogmanall@yahoo.com.good luck dogman514
