Slooooow Computer

    I have a Dell Ipspiron 1525 Laptop. It has an Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU T7250@2.00GHZ 2.00GHZ
    It also has 4 gig of memory.

    I have reinstalled Windows Vista. It has not been hooked up to go on line yet, but it is running very very very sloooooooooow. The hard drive light is always on. It takes 3.5 minutes to open up the control panel.

    Does anyone have an idea as to why this is running so slow?:cry :confused

    Do you update your system ? Do you install the driver ? I am thinking your cpu isn't able to run Vista well , a good point is to install either Xp pro or Win 7 ? Vista is an nightmare because is consuming a lot of memory of your system :wave
