slooooowwww on knoppix live cd

    has anyone else had a problem with slow speeds while using knoppix live cd? i mean really slow - worse than dial-up - im using dsl broadband.
    has it got anything to do with having to run firefox off the cd? or do i have to configure something in linux?

    The only times I had slow speeds were copying data from NTFS to fat32. Never had any issues with slow internet speeds.

    Do you mean the Internet connection is slow or your System is running slow?
