Slow Boot

    I feel that my computer booting is slow
    i have formatted my comp 2 times
    and my computer is boot is slow

    previsiouly my comp was fast
    and i did not feel this kind of slowness

    when you 'formatted' did you do a complete new, clean install? meaning delete the partition, create a new one, full format it, and install windows?

    or did you try an upgrade or repair installation?

    also, what kinds of programs are loading up on startup? disabling all but the necessary programs will save up to a few minutes off of boot times.

    just be sure you tell your programs not to run on windows start if they give you the option.
