Slow browser.....

This is the most annoying thing every happened to me.


I got a new laptop from university, a hp compaq 8510w.
at university wireless internet works perfect and works immediatly.
At home I had a desktop only, so I decided to afford a router.

a Sitecom router.

My desktop is connected through cable with the router and my laptop is connected wireless. Whenever I play online games I have no lag or whatsoever, not on my laptop neither on my desktop...

But most of the time my internet browser are extremely slow.
Whennever I click on a hyperlink my browser screen turns white and seems it's loading, this stage usually takes 5 mins before giving an error. So I push enter a lot and refresh the whole time, each time I'll have to do this to go to the next page.

Extremely annoying... youtube buffer works perfect, so I think it's not my connection, my software is doing something veyr badly. it takes ages to open a page but my download is as fast as before the router.
I have this problem on the laptop AND desktop...


Please help me...I'm losing my mind.

problem not fixed, I followed all the stepts.
After removing all the junk my browser is still slow.

I heard something about DNS server, so I also choose the DNS server of my ISP as default DNS server and clicked automatically choose IP.


This problem occured after adding my router. That way my desktop is connected WIRED and my laptop WIRELESS.
I have this problem on both the computers, desktop and laptop.
So I think it's some setting, not malware or stuff.

On the laptop I have vista, and desktop has xp pro.

My laptop is often 'identifying' the connection when I stand on the icon right-bottom of the screen. Then it goes back to 'sitecom, signal:excellent'etc etc..

With each new webpage etc --> 'identifying' I noticed
After 20-30 seconds again identifying....


PLease help me out..

Once again, when I surf on the internet it goes slow and sometimes it even freezes. My laptop is wireless and my desktop is wired, same problem on both pc's. It cannot be malware because when I'm on university my wireless internet works perfect on my laptop.

I resetted the router a few times, problem not solved...

ONLY WEB BROWSING GOES EXTREMELY SLOW.

I did a speedtest on the web and my connection is perfect..
So what is my problem??!?!?!?
