I have a laptop running Windows 7, and the browsing is slow regardless of whether I use IE, Firefox, or Chrome. When I show processes, one of the svc.host processes will be consuming about 50% of the CPU. When I end that process, browsing goes back to normal. Sometimes it stays normal for minutes before I have to end the process again, while sometimes it stays normal for hours before I have to end the process to restore browsing speed. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David

While it may not be the issue, the symptoms you are telling us are indicative of malware, so I would run the below and post a new thread with the logs in our malware forum and the malware experts there will assist you, and if malware is cleared or not evident, post back here and we can continue.

One thing I would test is boot to Safe Mode with networking and do you have the same issue? even if ok, I still would rule out malware first.
