I have a laptop running Windows 7, and browsing has become slow on IE, Firefox, and Chrome. I posted logs in the malware section of MG, but was told there was no sign of malware and was directed to the software forum. The connection is fine -- download speeds don't seem to be affected, but when following links there is a lot of churning. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

See if shutting down Spybot's SDCleaner and disabling monitoring in CCleaner (options -> monitoring) makes any difference.

Actually the problem started pretty suddenly, before I installed CCleaner and long after Spybot. But I did try that, but no difference.

Hey david, try disabling all the add ons you have for your browsers and see if that makes a difference, if it does then you can start enabling them slowly one at a time to find the ones slowing you down.
