slow computer

every time i start up my pc (lenovo 3000 GS530 running windows seven) it begins searching for networks even after i uninstalled my vodafone app. some programs will not open untill the "no network connection" bubble pops up, this is annoying as i have to wait ages for some programmes to start, although after this they start up fine. Is this typical of mobile internet connections or am i doing something wrong? i would be grateful for any advice on this problem, thankyou.

Go to Start> Search> type "msconfig.exe" (without the "qoutes")on the next screen select startup and disable or delete the vodaphone start up app.

restart your machine and see if the issue continues.
