Slow Computer

I noticed this a lot lately .. start up is slow , and even when i right click on the desktop the menu takes 1 min to appear .. when i open google chrome it takes almost 5 min to appear . browsing is slow .

Hi my friend , in addition to cipher's assistant , you can go to

Start
Run msconfig
ok

at startup tab you can push Disable all bottom - Apply - Ok

afterwards you must reboot your machine changes can be effected , what is your antivirus ? You can run this on line scanner :wave

Is there any other info i need to add ., my dear friends and I use AVG for antivirus .

 

My vote would be for aging HDD. After about five years of regular use, it's getting to be about that time if it's the original.
