Slow DVD player frame rate

    Whenever I play a dvd, the frame rate is extremley slow. The sound skips too. I have two different players, windows media v10 and real player v10. I even adjusted the performance in the windows media player, but that did not help. I updated my video card too. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    OS-windows XP with Sp2
    RAM-512 MB
    Processor- Mobile Pentium4 2.4Ghz

    aLLiKZar It's not too late to back out!

    Try a different program than WMP.
    Plenty of free DVD software players out
    there to try.
