Slow internet on one computer

So here's the beef. I've had my computer running solid now for a few years now. All of a sudden, the other day, it decides to act up on me. It's been having troubles with the internet, whether it be browsing, watching movies, or playing games, it goes slow or doesn't even connect to the websites/games I'm trying to connect to.

This is the only computer that has the problem. I've tested the ethernet and wireless. I've uninstalled all antivirus and firewalls. And the problem is still here. I don't believe it to be a virus, I'm pretty safe with this computer. I don't do much on it aside from playing games and watching movies.

 

It may be worth trying ping tests from all your PCs to your router and see if there is a big time difference. Let me know if you need help getting your router IP or with the pinging

 

Could you please provide some specs of the system.
OS - service pack level - memory - available hard drive space

Have you looked at the programs that are starting with windows.
It would be beneficial to run all the Malware test to rule that possibility completely out.

 

Download – Advance System Care and run a deep scan and that should fix the issue let me know how you make out.

 

Well I appreciate all of the help. I ran a ping test with my wireless to the router and it was all over the place with many high pings, some as high as over 1000! When I went to test my Ethernet it worked fine, ping and internet alike. So I'm not sure what was going on before, but it's been a few days now and it's still working fine. It appears I need to replace my wireless card, though. Thanks much! Hopefully I don't run into any more problems.
