Slow opening picfolders in my loginprofile only

I have the last year received a mysterious issue with all picturefolders in 'size larger' on my computer
a syndrome that appears to get worse in etaps only, for every windows reinstallation i make
these folders freeze up for atleast 30 sec everytime when trying to open the main folder, then it releaseopen!!! it
once inside all subfolders goes fast thou

It started with only 1 picfolder, clearly debuted with the new windows reinstallation i hade to make (third XP installation away from my current) then i started to see a patter when the second reinstall
from now caused the same, just on another hardrive and its largest picfolder, and now yesterday it closed the circle with the last harddrive i have excluded C:\

So the 3 folders on D:\ E:\ F:\ acts permanent slowed, i see this when i have just installed winodws and not installed anything at all, so we can exclude that its something that comes with installations
the really interesting thing is that these folder opens fast in safemode both as admin and my current profile, but it cant be normal just throu a standard login, any ideas what this is trying to say?

It doesnt help to sett he folders to list instead of thumbs, it doesnt help to defrag the drives (unless "Perfect disc" was contraproductive and have packed it to this slowdown) it doenst help
to move the content to a new folder, so the slow follows in the jpgs themself
i wanna learn understand what the trigger is behind this?

My largest of this 3 picfolders is 24 Gb, and that have not been a problem in the past, so why shouldnt i get back to that :yum

The indexing service was disabled

concerning "disc cleanup" i guess you mean Windows own feat

It allways show 0 kb on my secondary drives.

Thou i have performed some experiments by moving out the pictures from the 2 million subfolders and pasted them to a hopefully healthy new mainfolder not in any contact at all with the cursed one, create new subfolder for them..then i kill the old subfolders by dropping them inside the tool "CyberShredder" and that reports that the empty folders contains invisible "Thumbs.db"
but thei are not appearing in windows foldersearch/search inside hidden folders", and not in this "disc cleanup" either as you can see

therefore it looks like i must manually lie and delete 2 million subfolders and replace :drool since search dont find the thumbs that really are there :confused

 

Wery interesting, i just installed a freeware called "ThumbCleaner" i did a search and found a large list with the old junk files, alot of them placed in these 3 plagued picfolders, now all 5 drivers are completley cleaned...still the folder keeps freezing...hard to nog get depressive now
