My printer (HP Laserjet 1100) is very, VERY slow when I try to print an Adobe PDF file.It prints other things fine. I have Windows XP. Is there a fix for this? Thanks, David

I had the same problem when I was printing from the full version of Acrobat 5.x. Switching to the 7.x version of the reader for printing has solved the problem. I still use the full Acrobat 5.x for many things but use the newest reader for printing.

I have version 7 but am unsure if it is the latest. You think I should uninstall the whole program and reinstall from the website?

Cannot hurt to make sure you have latest version.

    plus some Acrobat troubleshooting options:

PDFs depending on content can print slow in some cases, large file sizes do hit a printers memory a fair bit.
