    I have:
    HP pro 3500 Series computer
    4.00 GB RAM
    64 Bit operating system
    CPU G870 @ 3.1 GHZ
    Windows 7 professional
    Service pack 1

Start up time is almost 4 to 5 min., I think this is because of too many programs are starting at start up.
How do I find out how many programs are starting aND How do I restrict un needed programs to start automatic at start up/:):)

    ran CC cleaner
Ran Win patrol and removed all un wanted programs to start at startup

Went and click on tools but could not find startup in the list.

This is what happens at start up
    1.
start up windows stays on for 1 min
    2.
Then there is blank screen for 1 min.
    3.
Then welcome screen comes on and stays for 1 min
    4.
Then blank screen for 2 min.
    5.
Finally the desk top comes up.

Hello! The next thing I would check is HD and memory.
check HD by doing a chkdsk.
Was not able to chekdsk because I do not know how to run computer as administrator

Check memory by Typing "Windows Memory Diagnostic" in search bar without the Quotes.
Wndows memory diagnostic did not work, it freezes when I click on diagnostic

You might want to run Malwarebytes free, which can be down loaded here on MG.
    Ran Malwarebytes, restarted computer

I like to run a sfc /scannow once in awhile, just to make sure I don't have any corrupted window files.
How do I run SFC /scan now, I tried going to comand com and typed sfc /scannow,
    Nothing happend.

See if any of these things help!
PS How much free space do you have on your HD??

HD has 375 GB free space
