It could be a virus masqurading under an hp pseudonym .....run an online scan :
    Panda online active scan
    http://www.activescan.com

also, start / run / type "msconfig" without qoutes and go to last tab and uncheck any hp stuff ...restart .

OK, I did the msconfig part so far. I should tell you that my webroot spysweeper is asking me lots of questions. I am telling it to keep the stuff I changed. Is this ok? I will run the scan now.

If it stuff you changed, yes ....keep an eye for stuff you didn't change ....disabling the hp stuff only stops it from running at start up ...it will still update if you manually ask it too ...let us know the results of the scan.:)

    Results are in.........
    1. Spyware/ Adware 24-7 Search C:\ windows\system32\unPPC.exe
    2. Application/ Hidewindow.A C:\hp\bin\FondleWindow.exe
    3. Application /KillApp.B C:\hp\bin\KillIt.exe
I have Norton AV, should I run that now to remove them? I also have XOFTSPY which scanned this am. Norton has not scanned for a few days.

You should not have two anti-virsus programs installed ...can cause major pains!!!
Yes run Norton (though most here will tell you to dump it as it is a system hog and can be problematic ...but that is a matter we'll address later.)

If it doesn't remove it all then go here:
Read and run first - Malware section

I finally ran everything........Norton, Spysweeper, XOFTSPY, ErrorKiller.
They all showed no problems. Hopefully this is solved. Do you think so?
    Something might still be there?

If you suspect a malware problem (which you obviously do)

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
      • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
      • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat[/B]
      • CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • HijackThis
NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

Please start a new thread in the malware forum for your logs, we will then be able to look through them and advise you as necesary
