Small Question...

I want to start getting into photography. But I also want to take picture of my family/friends and such. But I dont know but about cameras and such. I was thinking maybe a camera easy for beginners like under 200$. Anybody have any idea on which I should get?

 

If you're just taking pictures and not interested in like shooting video then look for say a sony dsc p-9 as they're relatively cheap and durable. i have the sony dsc p-7, not good enough for videos but its a 3.2mega pixel camera. the p-9 is a 4 mega pixel camera.

It depends on if you want digital or film, really. Best advice I've heard from photographers and photo shop owners alike is to go with a name you trust (Canon, Sony, whatever) and buy the best one they make that you can afford.

 

and if you can, take a class from the local high school, or college....

Try getting a second hand one, and i would also advise to go for an SLR, theyre so much more versatile
