small suggestion for admins

i was thinking back on some of the threads were some ppl like MA were complaining about how ignorant people were when it came to voting for certain programs, especially the aol stuff. well what if you just made it so that you had to register to vote or post comments on the software? sure some ppl will register just to leave stupid comments, but you can always just ban them from leaving comments or voting in the future. But, i bet it will eliminate a boat load of ppl that wont want to register just to vote stupidly.

better yet, you could put a little effort into it if you decide to and make it so that when you register on the main page, or the forums, you can login everywhere. it'll make the forums more active, it will eliminate all those stupid voters, and you can even enable comments if you want.

just a thought.

 

looking at other sites that are even bigger than this one (cnet for example) has this same exact featuer where users register to post comments and i must say that i've only see one or two bias posts, and they arent even that bad.
